ORGANIZATIONAL OBJECTIVES

• To carry out activities that show a respect for diversity in our communities.
• To be proactive and address issues on a strategic timeline. 
• To improve contacts with the Department of Education and legislators and develop greater coordination with the educational and professional organizations and agencies.
• To strengthen communications among member districts.
• To increase board member participation in the UEN.
  

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

• To contribute significantly to improving the educational achievement of children in urban settings through effective school practices including parental involvement and business/education partnerships.
• To promote the continued support of projects funded through special grant and funding streams for member districts.
